    Since 1982, ours have been involved in the artisan craiing and decoration of ceramics in the Fabbrica d’Arte workshop, located in the hills just outside Monterosso, in the Cinque Terre. Ours are hands that, in almost 40 years of activity, have perfected every gesture, experimented, and made mistakes as well as discoveries this is why today we can offer you unique pieces with their own authentic personality. Fabbrica d’Arte Monterosso is a project, an idea, a dream that takes shape every day. It is art, craftsmanship, dedication.

    In our laboratory five pairs of hands meet every day: those of Milla, Franz of Jenny and Diego, and finally those of Adele - daughter of Milla and Diego.
    Two whole families united by their passion for art, for craismanship and for their land. Fabbrica d’Arte Monterosso is the result of this encounter two shops in Monterosso and a workshop not far from the town, where the sea and the mountains meet right in the heart of the Cinque Terre.

    The cinque terre

    Ours is an ancient art, which comes from far away, but one that has taken root and grown in Monterosso. It has absorbed the essence of the Cinque Terre, an essence that it returns with every single creation, from the simplest souvenir to the most elaborate works.

    An experience of the senses

    The Cinque Terre are a Natural Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, suspended between the mountains and the sea. They owe their name to the five towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, ancient fishing villages that are today jewels of bright colors and unmistakable architecture, united by hiking paths.
    Exploring the Cinque Terre is an experience of the senses that we try to tell every day with our work. We know that narrating a land is a great responsibility, and for this, we put incredible thought as well as our whole hearts into every piece.

    Sight

    We searched for simple shapes and natural colors, which remind us of the shapes and color of our land - our works are continuously inspired by the beauty of these extraordinary places.
    Each piece is unique because it is handmade, and has its own personality that can be recognized in a single glance.

    Smell

    In our workshop, just outside Monterosso, the smell of clay mixes with the sea breeze and the soi wind blowing from the mountains.
    We like to work like this, gently poised between two worlds, to be able to give you a story with every piece that comes out of our shop.

    Hearing

    The hum of a lathe, the screeching of seagulls, the rustling of the wind between the houses. The Cinque Terre are a vital place, which have its own inner music like a half-mouthed hummed song that always cheers you up. We carry that same music within ourselves over time, and we try to infuse it into all our creations.

    Touch

    The Cinque Terre are a place with a concrete force, which wants to be touched and savored with the hands: the same with our creations.
    Run your finger over terracotta, enjoy its porosity and tiny irregularities; touch the porcelain, learning its smoothness and its surprising lightness; caress the stoneware, discover every hidden detail.

    Taste

    Some of our finest pieces are designed to enhance your kitchen, so you can bring the flavor of the Cinque Terre to the table whenever you want.
